Dr. Prateek Vijay is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician and the Founder and Medical Director of the clinic. With over 10 years of clinical experience, Dr. Vijay has spent his career caring for patients in high-acuity environments where safety, clinical judgment, and compassion are essential.

Throughout his years working in the Emergency Department, Dr. Vijay frequently encountered patients experiencing significant emotional distress who lacked access to timely, comprehensive care. While emergency medicine is designed to stabilize patients and determine disposition efficiently, the fast-paced nature of the Emergency Department often limits the time and resources available to fully address complex emotional and psychological needs. This experience highlighted for Dr. Vijay a meaningful gap in care—one that he felt compelled to help address.

Dr. Vijay has extensive experience using ketamine clinically in the Emergency Department for a wide range of indications and has worked with this medication for several years. He is highly trained and comfortable in the safe, evidence-based use of ketamine for conditions including anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, chronic pain, and procedural sedation.

Motivated by a desire to provide more thoughtful, individualized care, Dr. Vijay founded this clinic to create a calm, supportive setting where patients can feel heard and understood. His approach emphasizes compassionate and comforting care, personalized treatment plans, and evidence-based practice. By focusing on each individual rather than a time-limited encounter, Dr. Vijay aims to help patients achieve meaningful improvements in emotional well-being and overall quality of life.

Dr. Vijay is a member of the American Society of Ketamine Physicians and remains committed to ongoing education and staying current with evolving research and best practices in ketamine therapy.

Following the successful launch of three new enterprises, Gerald co-founded Standard Farms LLC in Pennsylvania and Ohio, as well as Natural Roots in Oregon. Under his leadership, Standard Farms was awarded one of the first twelve state-issued licenses in both Pennsylvania and Ohio. Concurrently, Gerald and his team secured a fully approved, state-issued license in Oregon.

Gerald led the end-to-end development of the Standard Farms cultivation and processing facility, a 62,000-square-foot operation comprising eight greenhouses and employing more than 75 staff members. Beyond cultivation and manufacturing, he also directed the operational launch of three dispensaries across Pennsylvania. Today, Standard Farms is entering its eighth year of sustained and successful operations in both Pennsylvania and Ohio.

In 2021, Gerald expanded his leadership into the New Jersey market, where he and his team secured multiple state approvals for startup licenses. To date, two retail storefronts and one manufacturing facility are fully operational, each demonstrating consistent month-over-month growth.

Building on this foundation, Gerald co-founded NuLife Health where he is responsible for business oversight and growth while upholding NuLife Health’s core values.
